New Logo, Brochure, and Business Card Design

Elise A. Bukowski, LMT, Hands, Harmony, Healing P.C. - logo design

Congratulations to client Elise A. Bukowski and the launch of her new massage therapy business: Hands, Harmony, Healing! (No exclamation point in her biz name; I’m just excited.)

I was honored to be tasked with the design of her logo, business card, and brochure.

Elise is a sweet, gentle individual with warm energy, yet strong, therapeutic touch. (Yes, I’ve had the honor of having my back knots and neck strains ironed out by her.) I thought this was essential to communicate in her branding. She wanted to include natural elements, hence the use of soft blues and greens, as well as a reference to a lotus flower.

When I showed her my first round of designs, my very first option actually ended up being the favorite for both of us. I was excited that we were on the same page; when she explained why she liked this design, I felt like she had taken a peek at my sketchbook notes!

I’m also excited about this design because I gave myself the challenge of creating a logo for a massage therapy business without using hands. Constraints gave way for more creative solutions.

I was pleased Elise was also on board with my idea for the brochure format. The finished size is a 5.65” square with a gate fold. As Elise said to me when I pitched the format idea to her, “It’s like the brochure is giving the client a hug.” :)

Elise is based out of Plainfield, Illinois. To make an appointment for one of her amazing massages, call 708.669.9HHH or email elisecares@gmail.com.
